Netaji Subhash Mahavidyalaya, Udaipur was established in 1964 and the department was established in 2006.The department has a capacity of 33 seats for Botany Major students and caters to the students of the Gomati district and its nearby district of Sepahijala, South Tripura and even students from West Tripura. The department is on the first floor of the New Science building.
