About Department
Netaji Subhas Mahavidyala Udaipur was established in 1964 and the Bengali Department was established in 1979 and Bengali Honours was introduced in 1989. The department has a capacity of 66 seats for Bengali Honours students. The department is on the first floor of the Arts Building. Alummni of the department can be touch with each other and also the department faculty members. Department has organized various cultural activity like Rabindra Janma jayanti , Adwaita Malla Barman Janma Jayanti internatonal Language Dey , Iswarchandra Bidyasagar Janma Jayanti. Rakhi Utsab Basanta Utsab etc. The students of the Department has Participated actively in these programs. Students are also involved in various co-curriculum activities like drama debate quiz etc.
